You do not need to keep the appshots scripts with your project. Simply execute using the full path to the image processor script. When your directory is set up with screenshots and appshots.txt config you are ready to generate your App Store images. The Sketch3 source file for the provided overlays is provided, so you can also modify them as well. If you don't the script will use the one provide in the install folder. You can optionally provide a overlays folder. Any device/screen combination not present in the appshots.txt or the screenshots directory tree will be ignored. It is organized by screenshots/ device/ screen.png. See below for more details on appshots.txt. The most important thing is to set up your color preferences and "blurbs" that you want to overlay. You can copy the provided config from the appshots install folder and modify it. The appshots.txt is a tab-delimited config file. If you already have convert installed you can skip this step. The easiest way to install that is with Homebrew. The primary workhorse of these scripts is convert which is part of ImageMagick.
